Get to know the New Mercedes CLE Cabriolet
The new CLE Cabriolet carries on the Mercedes-Benz tradition of offering elegant, four-seat open-top vehicles. It combines the stunning design of the CLE Coupe with a multi-layer fabric soft top that can be opened or closed in just 20 seconds.
At launch, the CLE Cabriolet is available in four trim levels: AMG Line, AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus, and Premier Edition. The engine options include four-cylinder and six-cylinder petrol engines. As well as a four-cylinder diesel engine, all featuring mild-hybrid technology.
Equipment and Specification
The new CLE Cabriolet is equipped with an electrically operated fabric soft top that can be raised or lowered in 20 seconds, while the vehicle is travelling at up to 37mph. AMG Line models feature 18” AMG alloy wheels, THERMATIC automatic climate control, LED High Performance headlamps with Adaptive High beam Assist. Not only that, a multifunction sport steering wheel in Nappa leather, dynamic 64-colour ambient lighting, wireless device charging, Blind Spot Assist, Traffic Sign Assist, and the Parking Package with a reversing camera.
AMG Line Premium adds 19” AMG alloy wheels, DIGITAL LIGHT LED headlamps with Adaptive High beam Assist Plus, MBUX
augmented reality for navigation and the Parking Package with a 360° camera.
AMG Line Premium Plus models introduce 20” AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels. Also the ENERGIZING Plus Package (including climatised multi-contour massage front seats, seven ENERGIZING comfort programmes with ENERGIZING COACH and AIR BALANCE Package with ioniser). Not to mention, a head-up display, and the 17-speaker Burmester® 3D Surround Sound system with Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio.
Premier Edition models add the Night Package. This includes 20” AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels in black – a heated steering wheel and Nappa leather upholstery.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the new CLE Cabriolet offers a variety of engine options:
- Four-cylinder and six-cylinder petrol engines: Choose from a 2.0L four-cylinder with either 204 or 258 horsepower. Or a powerful 3.0L six-cylinder with 381 horsepower.
- Fuel efficiency boost: All engines benefit from a 48-volt mild hybrid system that provides extra power and improves fuel economy.
- Smooth shifting: Every CLE Cabriolet comes paired with a smooth-shifting 9-speed automatic transmission.
- All-wheel drive option: The CLE 300 and CLE 450 can be equipped with Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive system for enhanced traction in all weather conditions.
- Customisable driving experience: Choose from various drive modes through DYNAMIC SELECT to personalize your driving experience and enjoy the responsiveness of the AGILITY CONTROL sports suspension.
