Fiat and Italian fashion house Trussardi have joined forces to create the “Panda Trussardi”, a limited edition bringing together two brands at the forefront of their industry. Fiat and Trussardi designers have collaborated with the design and accessories to show the personality of the Panda and fashion house. The Trussardi Greyhound logo is found on the rear quarter light, alloy wheel centre caps and the side mouldings. More exclusives to the Trussardi edition are; black roof bars, mirror caps, 15” alloy wheels and skid plates. An exclusive Caffe Italiano Brown colour in either a matt or metallic finish is available as well as a range of other colours.
On the interior, the Trussardi lettering is seen in various places such as; mats, seatbelts and door panels with the logo being used on the seats. The black leather seats have brown contrast stitching matching the new Caffe Italiano Brown dashboard while the Trussardi logo takes its home in the centre of the steering wheel.
The Trussardi will come with the 69hp 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox. City Brake Control will be available as an option on the Trussardi, this system detects objects in front of the car and applies the brakes if the driver does not if the car is doing less then 18mph.
The Panda is a long established car which has been available for 39 years, being the most popular car in Italy for 6 years, it has also been the best-selling city car since 2003 in the European market. The Trussardi is being hailed as the first “luxury Panda” by the president of Fiat brand Olivier Francois. The Panda Trussardi is available now with prices starting at £14,060.
