There is many who believe that you cannot be a true petrol without first owning an Alpha Romeo, so technically you shouldn’t be listening to me! They may not be to everyone’s taste or styling, but Alphas have a certain presence on the road that you simply don’t get with other cars. If you are a lover of the Italian manufacturer, you will be happy to hear about the release of the newest addition to their Stelvio SUV line-up, the Veloce Ti.
If you are wondering what the Ti stands for, its turismo internazionale, and adds a host of tweaks to the Stelvio. The interior gets luxuries similar to the sporty Quadrifoglio, such as Alcanatra leather sports seats, aluminium paddle shifters, and carbon fibre trim for the dashboard and centre console. Brand new 21-inch 5-spoked alloy wheels make their debut on the Veloce Ti before becoming available on other models. Further upgrades include a unique rear bumper and new diffuser, dark-tinted exterior badges and rear tinted windows to complete the look.
You will be propelled in the Veloce Ti by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 280hp and 400nm, distributing the power through an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and sending it to all 4 wheels. You will get from 0-62 in just 5.7 seconds. Along with this new model, Alfa Romeo has also updated the rest of the Stelvio’s engine range to ensure it complies with Euro 6d regulations. The firm has also added a host of connected services, including an on-board WiFi hotspot, an SOS call function and an updated navigation system which provides real-time traffic information and speed camera alerts! Pretty impressive!
We may not have any of the Veloce Ti in our stock just yet, but we have a couple of options on the very popular standard Stelvio that comes with dual-zone climate control, 18-in alloy wheels, and a 14 speaker Harman Kardon sound system! You can pick up a 2018 model with low mileage for between £21k-£30k.
